Railroad and Klipsun Trails to Northridge Park

Some of our favorite jogging routes from years before the old railroad grades were developed into our current trail system, to this day we continue to enjoy hiking along the Railroad and Klipsun Trails. What once was a steep hill to run up, now is a series of steps. Here I am, ready to head up the last set of steps along the Klipsun Trail.

Me . . . ready to climb the last set of steps along the Klipsun Trail

After exploring the trails through the Northridge Park, we hiked along the Silver Beach Trail leading through through the Silver Beach Preserve on our way to the Big Rock Gardens (you can view our photos and read about our hike through the Big Rock Park here – https://morefromreallyrose.wordpress.com/2011/12/09/big-rock-gardens/ ).
